The St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”) is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified contractors to establish a pool of prequalified contractors to provide mechanical vegetation mulching services for an initial three-year term. The Work includes cutting and mulching vegetation within designated areas, leaving only those trees identified by the District, and distributing mulch evenly across the work area unless otherwise specified.

Work Orders will be issued on an as-needed basis and competitively quoted among the prequalified contractors in accordance with the solicitation and resulting Agreement. In evaluating responses to the Work Order Request, the District may consider the quoted amount together with other factors relevant to performance, including equipment availability, ability to perform within the required timeframes, equipment resources, past performance, and other factors relevant to successful performance. The District is not required to award a Work Order solely on the basis of the lowest quoted amount. Selection into the prequalified contractor pool does not guarantee the award of Work Orders or any minimum amount of work, assignments, or compensation. The District has established an aggregate not-to-exceed budget of $1,500,000 for the initial three-year term for all Agreements resulting from this solicitation.
