This authority is supported by an approved Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 337214 Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing. This NAICS code has a small business size standard of 1,100 employees. The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) requires four (4) additional workstations to attach to existing products in the space. That furniture is Herman Miller, Canvas Office Landscape: Wall Based. New furniture must be the same brand and series, to affix to existing product. A Request for Information (RFI) was sent to MillerKnoll, which revealed that authorized dealers can only quote within their predetermined trading areas. APG Office Furnishings Inc is the sole authorized government dealer of MillerKnoll for Herman Miller furniture in the Wright-Patterson AFB, OH area. However, due to a lack of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 certification, APG is unable to meet the government s requirements at the time. Due to these circumstances, American Interiors Inc is the sole alternate government dealer for Herman Miller furniture authorized to quote and provide the government s requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
