Refer to the memorandum to potential Offerors within the portfolio, RFP 80KSC026R0017 Notice to Potential Offerors for more information. 7/17/2026 - Update This notice is made pursuant to FAR 5.101: NASA/KSC plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the following commercial products or commercial services: fire services (refer to the Attachments/Links section for more information). The type of set-aside and NAICS code is identified in the Classification section. The size standard is $16.5 million. The anticipated release date of the RFP and anticipated proposal due date is specified in the May 7, 2026, Update. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which must be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf This posting, in addition to any attached documents, will be available on https://sam.gov/. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Prospective offerors are encouraged to notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 6/25/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Virtual Presolictiation Conference presentation charts. 6/11/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following industry engagement opportunities for the NFSC II acquisition: Virtual Presolicitation Conference: June 23, 2026 One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: July 6-7, 2026 Virtual Presolicitation Conference: The NFSC II source evaluation team will host a virtual presolicitation conference on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. The virtual presolicitation conference is open to all interested parties. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of NFSC II requirements and the draft request for proposal (DRFP) to improve understanding and increase efficiency in proposal preparation. The overview will be followed by a question and answer session. Individuals interested in attending the virtual presolicitation conference are requested to contact the Contracting Officer, Melissa Boughton, at [email protected] not later than 12 p.m. ET on June 22, 2026, identifying the following for each attendee: first and last name, position or title (to include the company s respective contract manager or administrator), and company name.
