Notice of Intent for Single Source -- Sikorsky SK-64 Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Helicopter Express LLC. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to procure Sikorsky SK-64 Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures as Helicopter Express LLC is the only known source capable of meeting the FAA s need for initial and recurrent pilot training for the Sikorsky SK-64 aircraft. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Helicopter Express LLC and is not available for full and open competition.
