The majority of the renovation will result in offices, conference, storage, and staff workrooms, a clean and soiled utility rooms, reception area, lactation room, electrical closet, and restrooms. The clinical areas include EMG and NVC exam rooms. The existing Sleep Lab and Physical Therapy department currently located on the 6th floor are to remain on the 6th floor. The sleep lab serves a dual patient role of seeing patients mainly in the evening but during the day the sleep rooms are also used for neurological testing serving as Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) exams. The sleep lab will have to remain in operation during construction, and a phased schedule is required.
