The Department of Veterans Affairs has established programs designed to provide comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and rehabilitative services that improve the quality of life for veterans. VA SUD services provides veterans with detox services, residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, group therapy, individual therapy, psychiatric services, comprehensive medical care, and case management support.
