The U.S. Forest Service, Wilderness Ranger District (Mimbres, NM), requires full roof replacement on three historic structures. Complete replacement of the Smaller House roof with contractor-furnished synthetic cedar-look shakes matching approved SHPO appearance standards and meeting all applicable code and manufacturer requirements. Complete replacement of the Shower/Laundry Building roof with contractor-furnished synthetic cedar-look shakes matching approved SHPO appearance standards and meeting all applicable code and manufacturer requirements. All roofing systems shall be fully weather-tight, code-compliant, properly flashed and ventilated, historically compatible, with new insulation, and ready for unrestricted Forest Service use upon project completion.
