Full scope
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) for preclinical animal research services to evaluate the therapeutic effects of soluble adenylyl cyclase (sAC) inhibition on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) using an established endothelial cell-specific Cav1 knockout (EC-Cav1 KO) murine model and corresponding wild-type controls. The Government intends to solicit from a single source pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). UIC currently maintains the established EC-Cav1 KO mouse colony required for this study, an…
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) for preclinical animal research services to evaluate the therapeutic effects of soluble adenylyl cyclase (sAC) inhibition on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) using an established endothelial cell-specific Cav1 knockout (EC-Cav1 KO) murine model and corresponding wild-type controls. The Government intends to solicit from a single source pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). UIC currently maintains the established EC-Cav1 KO mouse colony required for this study, and the model is not known to be maintained by another laboratory. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources that believe they can satisfy the Government's requirements may submit a capability statement and/or quotation for consideration by the Government. Please see the attached Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the complete description of the requirement, basis for the intended sole-source acquisition, response instructions, and applicable response deadline.
